Use the Cornerstone Scripture Reading Journal to learn how to study the Bible for yourself. The study is centered around a topic that provides Bible verses about that topic. Pray before you begin and ask God to bless you with insight and discernment as you ponder and respond to the questions, which are tools for your spiritual growth.

At the end of each day's reading there is a suggested way to pray centered around Cornerstone's Mission - We C 3 Keys - Committed Relationship with Christ, Caring Relationships with One Another and Community Relationships because of our love for Christ. These are suggestions. Add to them, choose your own, the point is to pray.

You may want to choose to use the S.O.A.P. Method (Scripture - Observation - Application - Prayer) in a separate notebook. Listen to the Spirit draw you to a verse or maybe two. Make some observations about the context. Consider what God is asking you to believe, stop, pray, do or understand. Then move into a time of prayer guided by the scripture.
