Building a strong core muscle groups has multiple benefits:

REDUCES & PREVENTS PAIN

MAKES YOU LOOK TALLER & THINNER

DELAYS the AGING PROCESS

HELPS WITH BALANCE
-
INCREASES MENTAL FUNCTIONING

INCREASES ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE
There is a spiritual core we need to build as well, a core that reduces and prevents pain, helps us stay in balance and increases our ability to hear the Holy Spirit.
Through this STRONG series we'll be looking at these essential components of a plan to build a strong core:
Play
Pray
Study
Train
Serve
Live
Genesis 2:2? By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work

Restores my core
Matthew 11:28-29 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

I'm not the center of the universe and rest, play, Sabbath put me in my place.
