Serving Opportunities for Fall 2011

Top Serving Needs in Each Ministry Area

Early Childhood Ministries: Serving children from infant to 5 years of age

Clubhouse Servant - Serving in the infants, toddler, or 3 year old room one time per month.

4’s/5’s Room Servant – You will be in either the 4’s or 5’s room serving one month on, one month off.

Substitute Servant – Perhaps you can’t commit to either of these schedules. Please consider serving as a substitute that we can call on when we need help.

Elementary Ministries: Serving children from 1st grade to 6th grade

Lead Teachers for 1st – 4th Grade - Leads a group of children as a small group in a classroom with a helper.  Prepares lesson fro given curriculum. Serve one month on, one month off.

Adult Helper/Floater- Assists Leader of small group of children by greeting kids at the door, sign-in, and classroom assistant.

Project Support - Gives assistance to ministry directors on various projects such as Sunday AM room prep, scheduling, and office assistance.

Student Ministries: Serving youth in Junior and Senior High

Sunday Soul (One week a month on a rotating basis during 9:15 service)

Set Up -  Making sure chairs in the small auditorium and tables in the café are set up. Occasionally helping to get props, games, etc. needed for the lesson that week.

Greeters-  Welcoming students, supervising sign in, and helping new students get connected

Tech Booth- Helping student volunteers run media and sound during Sunday Soul

Sunday Night and Wednesday Night (Weekly commitment from Sept-Nov and Jan-April)

Small Group Leaders- Lead a small group of students in discussion questions (Sunday) or Bible study (Wednesday)

Adult Discipleship and Care Ministry:

Do you have a mercy gift? Lay Pastor’s training begins in September. It’s an opportunity to gain listening skills and then to minister to fellow Christians going through a trying time in life.

Attention Marketing Professionals, Don’t miss God calling you to share your gifts! We are always looking for servants to create/edit print and online materials. If you have experience with Adobe In-Design this is a place for you. Serving in this area is project based.

Have you participated in any of our support groups? We are looking to supplement our support team leadership and you already know how these groups are for those in need of support. If you have the experience and the passion to share and support others in a leadership role, please contact Pastor Jennifer.

Worship Team Ministry:

Worship Environment Team -  Do you like decorating and making things look good? We are looking for people who like to help create environment through the use of objects, fabrics, candles, etc….

Media Team-  Are you tech savvy? We need people who are willing to learn our presentation software, program the slides for the screen and run the media computer on Sunday mornings.

Graphics Design -  We need people who would be willing to design back grounds for 1 or 2 message series per year.
