In recognition of its excellent child care program and ongoing commitment to children, Cornerstone Christian Preschool has received a Two-Star Step Up To Quality Award from the State of Ohio – Bureau of Child Care and Development.  

“We congratulate Cornerstone Christian Preschool for its high-quality early care and education program that goes above and beyond Ohio’s licensing standards” says Terri Hare, Chief, Ohio Bureau of Child Care and Development.

Two–Star Step Up To Quality programs meet the following criteria:
•    small class ratio of teachers to students
•    highly trained teachers in early childhood development
•    commitment to early learning and Ohio’s Learning Content Standards
•    outstanding work environment

Cornerstone Christian Preschool is honored to receive this award. “Our focus has always been on the excellent care and education of our children.  This two-star award lets families know that our commitment to children is more than just lip-service”, said Denise Taylor, Preschool Director. CCP’s goal is to build a child’s self-confidence, develop social, emotional, and spiritual skills and instill a love for learning that will follow them the rest of their life.
