No one escapes this world without experiencing pain and brokenness. The Good News is that we don't have to experience that pain and brokeness alone. We have a Savior who underwent every kind of pain that we will ever endure and is very present in ours at this moment. He came to build a community that reaches out and " carries each other's burdens." Recovery Ministries at Cornerstone is led by broken people who have been put back together by Christ. They have walked through the same valley that you may be in now. They want to share with you the hope that you will get through this. There is a hand reaching out to you with no expectations, no obligations. Just the hope that you will be open to the mercy and grace of a God who loves you more than you will ever know. Please feel free to explore these areas of recovery ministry offered here at Cornerstone: Pursuit Network (Job Search Ministry)7:00-8:30, 1st & 3rd MondaysThe Job Search Ministry is dedicated to helping people who are unemployed, underemployed, or deeply unsatisfied with their current job. Celebrate RecoveryMondays, 7:00 pmCelebrate Recovery is based on the 12-step model of recovery, utilizing the 8 principles found in the Sermon on the Mount, commonly referred to as the beatitudes. CR recognizes that we need each other to grow spiritually and emotionally. Fellowship and accountability are two important components of our time together. And CR does not just focus on one single problem; it is a large "umbrella" program under which many issues can be dealt with. Alcoholism, drug abuse, co-dependency, and eating disorders - to name a few - are the issues that bring us together in CR, but the focus is on here we go moving forward. CR does not focus on any specific addiction or issue.
